Disruption after tree came down in middle of Felixstowe

Motorists in Felixstowe were asked to avoid the area on and around High Road East after a tree blew down overnight.

Suffolk Highways posted pictures of the fallen tree and a spokesman added: "A large tree has fallen overnight along High Road East, Felixstowe."

More wind and rain hit the seaside resort today.
