A cyclist has died following a road traffic collision in Felixstowe.

Police were called at 2.20pm yesterday, Monday 24 October, to reports of a collision involving a HGV lorry and a bicycle on High Street, Walton.

The cyclist, a man in his 70s, sadly died at the scene.

High Street in Walton was closed for several hours and diversions were put in place.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision and who has not yet spoken to officers, or anybody who was driving in the area and who has relevant dashcam footage.

Witnesses are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit quoting CAD reference 178 of 24 October.
