Drivers heading towards Felixstowe are being warned to allow extra time for their journey after accident left a car on its roof.

The A14 was partially closed eastbound between the Trimley and Dock Spur junctions at 6am this morning.

A Suffolk police spokesman said: "We were called to a single-vehicle RTC in the eastbound carriageway involving a Volkswagen Tiguan.

"There have been no casualties as a result of the crash."

The incident was exacerbated when a separate crash involving two vehicles took place in the queues.
