Felixstowe School students have secured 100% success for all those wishing to study at degree level by obtaining their place at their chosen university.

Despite the challenging circumstances of the past couple of years, 30 Felixstowe School students were today celebrating their Level 3 qualifications.

Assistant headteacher for sixth form, Xavier Norte, said: "I am so proud of all our students, they are a credit to the school and their families.

"It has been an extremely challenging couple of years for them, so It has been pleasing to see our students achieve their best and move on to the next stage of their lives. We wish all of our leavers every success in the future."

Sixth form numbers continue to increase at Felixstowe School and the Unity Partnership Trust school has spoken of its pride at being part of the vibrant Felixstowe community.

"We are so proud to call them our alumni, and look forward to hearing the great things that they go on to achieve in the future."

Along with other schools in the county, Felixstowe will not be producing a league table of results.

"It has been a challenging year and I hope today's results will enable students to take the next step in their education or careers. If any students are unsure what to do next, there is a lot of really helpful information at www.thesource.me.uk

"If you have received your A level results but didn't achieve the results you expected, I would encourage you to contact your university or college for a chat.

"If you have been unable to get the place you wanted at a university or further education college, the regular UCAS clearing process is open until 1 September."
