TVR Car Club visits Origin Customs for special Suffolk meet
By Becky Stone 13th May 2026
Classic car enthusiasts gathered in Hollesley as Origin Customs Limited welcomed members of the TVR Car Club Norfolk & Suffolk region for a special meet at the workshop.
TVRs attended the event, bringing together owners and enthusiasts to celebrate the iconic British sports car brand while supporting independent specialists helping to keep classic motoring alive.
Hosted at the Origin Customs workshop in Hollesley, the meet offered members the opportunity to see the restoration and repair work carried by founders Theo Bruce and Garath Browning, whose growing reputation for craftsmanship and specialist knowledge is attracting attention across the classic car community.
Richard Pilgrim, Regional Organiser for the TVR Car Club Norfolk & Suffolk, said: "You've got to come to places like this because there are no main dealers anymore. You're always looking for specialist independent mechanics with knowledge and skills to keep these cars on the road. Those people are becoming harder to find, so it's important to support them, use them, keep them going and keep us all going."
Origin Customs founder Theo Bruce turned a lifelong passion for cars into a thriving restoration business after years of developing his skills idependently. Diagnosed with autism at the age of 22, Theo's exceptional attention to detail and encyclopaedic automotive knowledge have become defining strengths in his work restoring and repairing classic, and modern, vehicles.
The workshop has already undertaken projects including classic Saabs, MGs, Range Rovers and a 1995 Volvo limousine, with Theo and Garath building a reputation for tackling challenging restorations with precision and care.
Becky Stone of Origin Customs said the event represented more than simply a car meet.
"It was an incredible day welcoming the TVR Car Club to Hollesley and sharing what the team do at Origin Customs. Events like this are so important for keeping the classic car community connected and ensuring specialist knowledge and craftsmanship continue to thrive for future generations. We're incredibly proud of the dedication, skill and passion Theo and Garath bring to every project, and it's fantastic to see ethusiasts come together to celebrate that."
The event marked another milestone for Origin Customs as the business continues to grow within Suffolk's classic and specialist car scene, combining technical expertise with a genuine passion for preserving automotive heritage.
