The hugely successful Little Fort of Horrors is returning to the Landguard Peninsula this year - and we are now on the hunt for scarers.

Fancy joining in the fun and helping us give our victims (we mean visitors!) a night out to remember at one of the most haunted places in Britain? Then we would love to hear from you.

No acting experience is needed, but you must be over 18, up for getting in costume and be available on the nights of Friday 28 and Saturday 29 October from 1830-2330.

The Little Fort of Horrors was first held in 2013 and is one of the Landguard Peninsula's most popular events. The last one held in 2019 saw a visit by the ScareTOUR website who visit, and review scare attractions around Europe. They said, "The creepy corridors, impressive jump scares and cleverly thought out set pieces, make this a very strong scare event".

A Scarers Meeting is being held at Landguard Fort on Thursday 30 June from 1830-1930 - so if you fancy becoming a volunteer scarer then come along to learn more about this year's event.
