  • Oversee the indirect procurement department, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reductions and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives.
  • Report on procurement and supply chain performance metrics.

Profile

A successful Head of Indirect Procurement should have:

  • Experience in a leadership role in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and lead a team.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and digital tools.
  • A solid understanding of the business services industry and its procurement needs.
