Job Title: Dental Nurse - Felixstowe

Days: Monday-Friday

Salary: 15-18 per hour

Progression: Training & Qualifications available for Trainee , Head Nurse position available in March for experienced Nurses to progress their careers.

Location: 10 minute walk from the train station, 5 minute walk from the beach!

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental care and be able to efficiently assist the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dental team in all aspects of patient care and treatment
• Prepare and maintain the dental instruments, equipment, and materials
• Ensure the treatment room is clean and well-stocked
• Provide chair-side assistance during dental procedures
• Take and process dental radiographs
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Manage the dental practice in the absence of the practice manager
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality

Qualifications

• Certification or diploma in Dental Nursing
• Proven experience as a Dental Nurse
• Solid understanding of dental procedures and terminology
• Proficiency in taking dental radiographs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
• Knowledge of dental software and record-keeping systems

Day-to-day

• Assisting the dentist chair-side during patient treatment
• Setting up and sterilizing instruments
• Educating patients on oral hygiene practices
• Maintaining a clean and organized treatment room
• Coordinating with the practice manager for smooth operations
• Providing support to the dental team and ensuring patient comfort and safety
