The scouts spread some Christmas cheer with their special postal service covering Felixstowe, Walton, The Trimleys, Kirton and Falkenham.

Red collecting boxes will be open from Thursday 25 November to Tuesday 7 December at Conkers Garden and Pet Shop, Felixstowe Library, Finickys Hair Design, Goslings Farm Shop, Michael's Butchers, Morrisons, Roselea Nursery Farm Shop, Co-op, The Bread Basket and The Card Centre.

The cost is 30p per card; post the correct money along with the cards into one of the boxes. Please write the full address with postcode and any special instructions on the envelope clearly.

All cards will be delivered by local scouts and leaders by Christmas Eve.

This service helps the 7th Felixstowe Scout Group to not only raise much needed funds but to also raise their profile and to provide a service to the community in which they live.

Note: Felixstowe have officially joined with the Ipswich scheme to provide a link between the towns, so cards can be delivered to locations in Ipswich too.
