A Felixstowe councillor has backed all options to make housing in East Suffolk become carbon neutral.
Richard Kerry spoke out after plans to provide environmentally-friendlier homes have been outlined by a Suffolk council in a bid to play its part to address the climate emergency.

Five years ago Suffolk Soprano Christina Johnson was singing for the Chinese president and his government as they marked the end of World War Two.
On Friday, Christina will be performing from her studio in Old Felixstowe, live streaming a special VE Day concert across the world, which means a lot to her personally.

As people are no longer able to attend Felixstowe's VE Day 75 commemorations or events due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Royal British Legion is playing a central role in the delivery of a range of remote activity for people to participate in from home.
This includes a VE Day 75 livestream, national moments of Remembrance and thanksgiving and a learning pack for young people.

Schools across Suffolk, including those in the Felixstowe area, have been urged to claim free tampons and sanitary products for their pupils from a government scheme to help support young female pupils.
The Government introduced the scheme at the start of the year which allowed all state-maintained schools and 16-19 colleges and sixth forms to access free period products for their pupils.
