There is more misery for motorists this morning after police closed the Orwell Bridge both ways following an incident.
Delays to traffic along the A14 quickly built up and peripheral roads became heavy as drivers looked for alternative routes.

Felixstowe School students have secured 100% success for all those wishing to study at degree level by obtaining their place at their chosen university.
Despite the challenging circumstances of the past couple of years, 30 Felixstowe School students were today celebrating their Level 3 qualifications.

A 38-year-old from Ipswich accused of bringing the A14 to and from Felixstowe to a complete halt for more than four hours has been remanded in custody ahead of a crown court appearance
Stuart Winney, of Wherstead Road today appeared at Suffolk Magistrates' Court accused of a single charge of causing a public nuisance after hewn to the Orwell Bridge on Saturday with the intention to disrupt the community.
