The mural, unveiled at Felixstowe station

The unveiling of the new mural at Felixstowe station to promote train travel in the area comes as part of Greater Anglia's collaboration with the East Suffolk Lines Community Rail Partnership.

Afghan women fleeing from the Taliban

Felixstowe is among a number of towns expected to pull its weight after Suffolk's councils united to pledge their support in the Afghan refugee crisis, saying "times like these call for acts of humanity".

The county's authorities were briefed by the Government late Wednesday afternoon on the resettlement scheme, which will allow 20,000 Afghans fleeing the Taliban to seek shelter on UK shores.
