A section 60 order in Felixstowe, giving police the power to stop and search without reasonable grounds, has now been lifted.
The order was authorised after a teenage boy was assaulted at some point between 2pm and 2.10pm yesterday afternoon, Saturday 20 November, in the grounds of the Holy Trinity Church in Back Hamlet.

A Felixstowe councillor has warned second home owners in East Suffolk utilising a loophole to escape council tax or business rate charges that free council services such as waste collection and parking spaces will not be available for them, as councillors look to get tough on fraudulent attempts.
A legislation loophole currently exists where people who own a second home register as a holiday let business to avoid paying council tax, but then make no efforts to let the home.
