Sharpe Books will publish local author Iain Maitland's Bloomfield & Palmer series, a trilogy of detective novels set in Suffolk in Victorian-Edwardian times.
Richard Foreman, founder, acquired world English language rights to three books from Annette Crossland at A for Authors Agency Ltd. Publication will begin in autumn 2021 with The Wickham Market Murder and The Southwold Murders and The Cobbold Point Murder will follow.

A community group has been set up to fight plans by Punch Pubs to demolish the White Horse in Felixstowe and replace it with a convenience store and flats.

The words 'Suffolk Remembers' were illuminated along Felixstowe seafront, as Suffolk Day 2021 drew to a close and the community gathered to celebrate and remember loved ones in support of St Elizabeth
Organised by the hospice, the annual remembrance event returned for 2021 in its more traditional format,along Felixstowe seafront, while adhering to government guidelines surrounding Covid-19.
