Felixstowe firefighters were among riders experiencing the closing miles of the Suffolk stage of the AJ Bell Women's Tour that will decide the winner of the 2021 race on Saturday 9 October.
Led by CAMS – Basso rider Clover Murray, who hails from Frinton, the group rode the final 32 kilometres (20 miles) from Wickham Market to Felixstowe, finishing on the sea front in Felixstowe.

A Felixstowe man has been arrested as police investigate the stabbing of a teenage boy in Ipswich.
The 27-year-old man from Felixstowe, who has not yet been named by police, currently remains in police custody for questioning after being arrested late on Thursday evening following the attack.

A Felixstowe firefighter has revealed the reasons why she is taking part in a gruelling 1,000 bike ride to help fellow fire and rescue personnel.
The group of 14 fire and rescue service personnel are cycling the length of the UK, with five support crew, for The Fire Fighters Charity – while raising awareness of the mental health challenges they and their colleagues face every day.
