Chance to support Felixstowe pubs and double your money

Felixstowe pubs are being invited to join in with a scheme that will reward customers wanting to support their local this Christmas by giving them twice as much festive cheer for their pound.

The Save Our Pub campaign has brought out a new version of their voucher scheme, only this time it is the customer that gets double.

Budweiser Brewing Group will match any gift card bought for you or a loved one up to £100, to spend at your local once they have signed up.

So for example, if you buy a £50 gift card at a pub that has signed up to the scheme, then you will be given another £50, donated by Budweiser to use in the pub of your choice.

You can use your gift of any drinks or food at the chosen establishment, and neither your nor the pub, have to spend it on Budweiser products.

The gift cards will be unique to the pub where you donated. So if you love two locals, make sure you grab two, and they can be used up until the end of June next year. They are on sale now and can be purchased up until midnight on December 24. Go to savepublife.com here.

Each pub is limited to £1,000 donations and there is a £200,000 limit for this campaign, so buy now.

When the gift card is emailed out, there will be a unique six digit code on it. When your pub reopens, all you have to do is bring that code with you and show it to the bar tender. The pub will then be able to use our portal to either partial or completely redeem the gift card.

You get your local to sign up by making them aware of the campaign and get them to register by clicking 'Add Your Pub' on savepublife.com

Save ub Life ran a similar scheme in the summer, which then matched anything the customer bought donated to the pub.

Will I really get treated to a gift card by Budweiser Brewing Group when I buy a gift card for a friend?
