"Beauty is Truth - Truth Beauty..." John Keats, and thus our local Suffolk Bard of Woodbridge, the anglo irish genius Edward FitzGerald celebrated his intuitive understanding of the Oneness of Humanity in his masterpiece The Ruba'iya't of Omar khayya'm - an exquisite Interfaith poem celebrating all that is Good, True and Beautiful in the life of every human being.
So here are four poems Awakening and Celebrating the best in each of us as has been happily witnessed during this global pandemic - ENJOY ! SALUTATION OF THE DAWN Listen to the Salutation of the DawnLook to this day!
For it is life, the very life of LIFEIn its brief course
Lie all the verities and realities of your existenceThe bliss of growth
The glory of actionThe splendour of Beauty
For yesterday is but a dreamAnd tomorrow only a vision
But today well lived makes every yesterdaya dream of happiness
and every tomorrow a vision of hopeLook well therefore to this day.

THE PEACE OF WILD THINGS
When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least soundin fear of what my life and my children's lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drakerests in his Beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the Peace of wild thingswho do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the Presence of still water.And I feel above me the day blind stars
waiting with their light. For a timeI rest in the Grace of the world, and am free.

LOVE
There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer;
No disease that enough love will not heal;No door that enough love will not open;
No gulf that enough love will not bridge;No wall that enough love will not throw down;
No sin that enough love will not redeem;It makes no difference how deeply seated the trouble,
How hopeless the outlook,How muddled the tangle,
How great the mistakeA sufficient realisation of love will dissolve it all
If only we could love enough, we would be the happiest andmost powerful beings in the world.
