Felixstowe's popular Italian restaurant Prezzo is reopening on Friday, October 30.

Prezzo's in Hamilton Road is taking online bookings as from this morning, with the restaurant open from 12noon on the 30th.

Diners have not been allowed to sit in the Italian, which specialises in pizza, pasta and Prosecco specials, has been closed since March due to the coronavirus.

Covid-19 protocols will be in place with the rule of six, disposable menus and ordering via a tablet or smartphone.

It is understood the Felixstowe branch will offer some new additions to the menu when it opens on the Friday, including four new pizzas - with veggie and vegan options - a new chicken burger, a calamari recipe, new vegan spaghetti bolognese, which is also available with gluten-free pasta and and new cocktails.

Prezzo is also looking to open other Suffolk restaurants in its chain, with Woodbridge due to reopen on October 27, with Bury St Edmunds, Beccles, Aldeburgh, Newmarket, to shortly follow.
