Air & Ocean Freight Sales Manager / BDM

We are recruiting for an award-winning logistics company who specialise in Multi-modal supply chain solutions and global freight forwarding. A company who has a reputation for innovative, intelligent and adaptable supply chain solutions.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager (or business development manager looking to progress into a senior role). An individual who has a strong commercial background working in field sales in the freight forwarding sector. You must be a self-starter who is well networked and connected in the freight industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth in the Air and Ocean Freight division. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in developing and implementing successful sales strategies.

Essential Experience:

• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• The ability to identify and target new business
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
• A proven track record of successful new business development & revenue through selling air and sea freight services
• Strong leadership and team management skills to drive performance and achieve sales goals
• A strong hold on market trends and competitor activities
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• The ability to travel as needed
