Infrastructure Engineer

Our client is a nationally recognised name in residential development who have recently expanded their East Anglian operation.

As a result they are seeking an infrastructure engineer to join their team on the outskirts of Ipswich. They are looking for an engineer who, preferably, has experience working for a house builder with the capability to provide engineering support and technical guidance to regional and site offices.

You will be able to deal with planning applications, provide advice on land viability whilst ensuring work complies with relevant Regulations and Statutory requirements.

Knowledge of geotechnical and environmental reports is required, together with experience in providing roads and drainage design for residential developments.

In depth knowledge of sectional agreements, including 38, 278, 104 and 185 is vital.

Ideally you will have experience attending site, providing support and on-site solutions.

A skilled communicator who is able to work at all levels, with good negotiation skills and commercial awareness.

Proficient in AutoCAD and Excel, with an in-depth knowledge of Building Regulations and Health & Safety legislation.

Minimum HNC with an engineering degree.
