Our highly professional Insurance Client is looking to recruit a Claims Team Leader to lead their team of Technicians.

This is a role that can be performed on a hybrid basis, working between the office and from your home.

Due to the complexity of this role, the applicant is required to have at least 4 years of experience within the Insurance industry and is likely to be rejected if not.

This is a small team of diverse backgrounds, who work well and closely together in a supportive environment.

As Team Leader you will be responsible for all aspects of the people management and development of your team as well as ensuring all workflow issues and requirements are effectively met in the highly technical Insurance environment.

As Team Leader your main responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and managing team
  • Ensuring the team is working within the set KPI and achieving maximum
  • Communicating priorities and monitoring completed tasks to ensure priorities are being
  • Acting as escalation point for conflicting priorities.
  • Motivating and coaching your team, helping them to achieve their targets and
  • Agreeing developmental needs and goals for Team Members and support their development by appropriate
  • Ensuring sufficient staffing is met through management of holiday, sickness &
  • Performing objective and review meetings, establishing performance against goals
  • Ensuring that any project work is balanced with delivery of the other priorities.

To be a successful Team Leader you will demonstrate:

  • Claims handling experience
  • An aptitude for effective leadership and people management
  • Good analytical skills
  • Able to understand business needs and prioritise work accordingly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised and professional approach to work
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively outside own team
