We are actively recruiting for a new job opportunity with an accountancy firm in Ipswich, available at Assistant Accountant level, but with flexibility to hire between Assistant Accountant to Semi-Senior Accountant. Study support can be offered to people taking AAT or ACCA qualifications, but applicants without qualifications who have the right work experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of year-end accounts for all business types
• Preparation of Corporation and Business Tax computations
• Preparation of management accounts and company documents
• Knowledge of Iris Accounts Production suite would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office including excel is essential.
• Knowledge of Sage and Xero bookkeeping software would be advantageous

• Experience gained from working in an accountancy firm
• Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
